In connection with the translation of the award-winning novel “The Eighth Life (To Brilka), Doc Lounge Aarhus and FoodFilmFestivaldk invite you to an informal talk with Nino Haratischiwili and the georgian Chargé d’affaires, Mr. Kakha Shishniashvili on Georgia, the Caucasus, history, the Soviet Union, strong women and much more.
After the talk, the Georgian embassy offers a glass of wine.

Steen Bille is an danish author and scriptwriter both for film and plays. Steen Bille has a cand.phil from Institut for Dramaturgi (Aarhus Universitet) and worked as scriptwriter Fiolteatret, as radiohost for DR P1 , and as film consulent at The Danish Filminstitut, censor at the Danish Filmschool and film expert for Nordic cultural fond. Among his books are Brechts Lærestykker (oversættelse, 1982), part of the anthology “Arbeitsbuch Uwe Kolbe” (2012) and with Lisbeth A Bille ,published a number of novels such as the Mandix triologi (2018-2020). Together with Niels Arden Oplev he has written the filmmanuscript for “To Verdener” and “”Drømmen” which won a Robert for best Film manuscript. Steen Bille is member of Dansk Forfatterforening, Danske Dramatikere, Danmarks Filmakademi and Dansk Pen.
